HISTORY

HPA Design was established through an international collaboration.

In 2013, a group of talented Vietnamese architects began working alongside American architects, participating in architectural projects across the United States and Canada. Through this collaboration, the team gained exposure to global design standards, professional management processes, and cross-border working methodologies that bridged geographical distances.

With a 12-hour time difference between the two countries, the teams developed a continuous 24-hour design workflow, where ideas, drawings, and solutions were seamlessly advanced across two continents. This unique working model not only accelerated project timelines but also shaped HPA’s international mindset from its earliest days.

After five years of accumulating experience through international projects, HPA Design was officially established in Vietnam with a clear vision: to bring global design thinking into the domestic market and contribute to the development of Vietnamese architecture during a period of significant transformation.

In 2020, HPA Design further expanded its international partnerships, jointly delivering projects in the U.S. market while also developing a two-way collaboration model for selected projects in Vietnam. This cooperation combines international expertise with deep local insight, enabling HPA Design to execute complex and large-scale projects.

Today, after more than a decade of growth, HPA has become a design firm capable of delivering cross-border projects. Looking ahead, HPA Design aims to build a premium architectural platform in Southeast Asia — one that connects global design resources, international standards, and a profound understanding of local context.
